12 months

Standard coverage for many economy and value-range batteries.

18 months

Mid-range batteries with extended performance guarantees.

24 months

Long-life premium batteries and
higher-capacity units.

What the warranty covers

Within the stated warranty period, the warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects that cause the battery to fail prematurely.
  • Capacity loss where the battery can no longer hold a normal charge under standard operating conditions.
  • Faulty cells or internal shorting were detected by diagnostic testing.

If the battery fails for a covered reason, we will repair or replace it according to the warranty terms (repair or replacement at Battery Zone’s discretion).

What the warranty does NOT cover

The warranty does not cover failures caused by:

  • Improper installation or damage from accidents, collisions, or external impacts.
  • Misuse, negligence, or improper maintenance (e.g., leaving lights on, corroded terminals, inadequate ventilation).
  • Theft, fire, flood, or other external events.
  • Tampering, opening, or attempted repair by unauthorized parties.
  • Normal wear where the battery age exceeds the warranty term.
  • Electrical faults in the vehicle (bad alternator, parasitic drains) — these can cause repeated battery failures and are excluded unless proven otherwise.

How to keep your warranty valid

  • Keep your original invoice/receipt — this is your warranty proof.
  • Ensure professional installation (we recommend our technicians or an approved installer).
  • Avoid tampering with the battery or its terminals.
  • Follow basic maintenance: keep terminals clean, ensure secure mounting, and avoid deep discharges.
  • If you suspect charging-system issues, get the alternator/charging system checked — repeated failures due to charging faults can void claims.
