How the business is set up
We run as a dispatch operation rather than a workshop with a waiting room. Vans are positioned across the city through the day and moved as demand shifts, which is what makes a 20-30 minute average arrival possible rather than aspirational. Each van carries diagnostic equipment, common stock for the makes we see most, and the tools for jumpstarts, tyres, fuel and recovery, so most jobs are finished on the spot without a tow. We work across Dubai and the neighbouring emirates, 24 hours a day, every day of the year including public holidays.
The people who turn up
The team is around fifty people: technicians in the field, dispatch coordinators who decide who goes where, and customer care. Technicians are trained across the range we actually meet in Dubai, from daily commuters and delivery vans to German luxury saloons with start-stop systems and hybrids with a separate auxiliary battery. Training is continuous rather than one-off, because a modern vehicle's electrical system is not the one our first technicians trained on. Every technician carries identification and works to the same procedure, so the service does not depend on which van reaches you.

Four things, in order. Safety first, ours and yours, which is why a technician will decline to work in a live traffic lane and move the vehicle instead. Then honesty: we test before we replace, and if the fault is the alternator or the starter rather than the battery we say so, even though it is the smaller sale.
